Leading national provider of in-home senior care opens local office and offers new help for area families

Millions of Americans will face heartbreaking decisions this year when an elderly parent or grandparent is no longer able to live on their own. In fact, more than 50 million people, one in five adults, will provide care for a chronically ill, disabled, or elderly family member or friend during the coming year.

Senior Helpers, a national leading provider of in-home care for seniors, is offering a new solution for families across central and south-central Connecticut. Wells Fargo reports net income of $3.06 billion; up 20% from prior quarter

Wells Fargo & Company, which purchased Wachovia in 2008, reported diluted earnings per common share of $0.55 for second quarter 2010 compared with $0.45 for first quarter 2010 and $0.57 for second quarter 2009. Net income was $3.06 billion for second quarter 2010 compared with $2.55 billion in first quarter 2010 and $3.17 billion in second quarter 2009. For the six months ended June 30, 2010, the Company�s net income was $5.6 billion, or $1.00 per share, compared with $6.2 billion, or $1.13 per share, a year ago.

Dr. Jonathan M. Daube, President Emeritus of Manchester Community College, has been appointed to serve as interim president of Middlesex Community College, Middletown, Connecticut, following the appointment of Dr. Wilfredo Nieves as the president of Capital Community College in Hartford following the retirement of Dr. Calvin Woodland, Capital�s president since 2005.

Dr. Daube, a long time community college educator retired from the presidency of Manchester in 2008 and since that time has taught courses at the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Kull, a psychiatrist, will specialize in evaluating and treating adults and individuals with specific geriatric psychiatric conditions on an outpatient basis.

Dr. Kull comes to Masonicare with an impressive resume and many years of experience in the geriatric mental health field, most recently serving as senior director with the merged Merck/Schering-Plough, the second largest drug company in the world. Dr. Kull is a graduate of Duke University, where he received both a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and zoology and his medical degree.
