Promotional Opportunities for Our Members

Throughout the calendar year, our members are offered numerous opportunities to promote their company's goods and services. The proceeds from many of the various promotions go towards funding Chamber programs and helping to support community-oriented philanthropy.

• Web Site Promotions:  Multiple Business Classifications and Hyper Links to your web site are available as well as archived Member News Articles, Banner Ads, Logos and Web Words...on a site with over 34,000 unique visitors in a month.  That's fantastic visibility!
• Members regularly conduct informative presentations at our "Luncheon Workship Series."  It is a great way to present our members as the experts in their respective fields.  A little information goes a long way to creating a new relationship with a prospective client.
• Annual Awards Program at our Annual Meeting:  We are pleased to recognize the accomplishments of our members at our Annual Meeting and Dinner.  Members nominate members for our three major annual award programs; the Small and Large Business Leadership Awards for two deserving member companies and the Community Partnership Award for a dedicated person in our community.  Past recipients are listed on the current application form.
• Eye Opener Breakfast Series Sponsors:  Sponsoring an Eye Opener Breakfast is a great way to get a two-minute commercial about your business and a great way to introduce an exciting speaker and to get some great photo-ops. 
• "Host a Business After Hours" or a "Business Before Hours:"  Hosting a monthly Business-after-Hours or Business-Before-Hours networking event is a great way to showcase your business, provide tours and to show off your site. Often, two or more members will co-sponsor the event. 
• Expos, Trade Shows and the Chamber's Annual Dinner Silent Auction:  Greater Meriden Chamber Commerce Business Expo at the Annual Daffodil Festival has great booth space under the "big tent" as well as selected areas for vehicles and other larger displays.  Chamber Annual Dinner is the largest gathering of business persons in the Meriden area and affords a great opportunity to promote your business through our Silent Auction. 
• Annual Ray Parmentier Classic Golf Tournament Sponsorships:  Sponsorship of the Annual Golf Tournament which raises funds to support Chamber programs including the Sanford S. Shorr Education Awards. These Annual Awards are for deserving Meriden Area Students graduating from local area High Schools as well as for students returning for undergraduate and graduate studies. 
• Monthly Chamber Newsletter:  Double-sided flyer inserted into the monthly Chamber newsletter, reaching over 950 members and friends of the Chamber in the greater Meriden area and beyond.  Member news items are profiled free of charge in monthly Member Update column in "The Chamber News."  New Chamber members are also introduced in the monthly newsletter .  Business Card Ads are also available.
• Annual Membership Directory and Community Guide:  In addition to the on-line directory, Chamber Members appear in the Annual Community Profile and Membership Directory. This full four-color promotional piece is distributed to the community at large and is designed to provide exposure and a positive look at the Meriden community.  Advertising space may be purchased in the Annual Directory and Community Guide.
