The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce is forming a
Health and Wellness Council

The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce is currently organizing a Health and Wellness Council under the leadership of David Lowell of Hunter's Ambulance services.  The Health and Wellness Council is dedicated to identifying and promoting best practices in community and employee health and wellness through advocacy for health care access, literacy, policy and programs.

In addition, we cordially invite all of our Health and Wellness Chamber member professionals and providers to attend our Health and Wellness Council meetings which are held on the last Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber offices.  Please view the Chamber Events Clendar in this web site for possible change of dates and specific meeting locations.

Fosdick Fulfillment Corporation is an active member of the Chamber's Health & Wellness Council and they have provided pictures from their Wellness Fair 2011 that was held in their Meriden and Wallingford locations in April. Fosdick employees that coordinated the effort include: Janice Zdanowski, Elizabeth Cook, Tammy Rodriguez, Bonnie Sutera, and Diana Murchison.  It was a huge success with a great turnout!  Chamber member vendors included: YMCA, TD Insurance, Alzheimer's Association, Meriden Health Dept., MidState Medical Center, and Community Health Center.
