Our guest speaker is Meriden's own Gary Burr. Gary Burr is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and has been named Songwriter of the Year by ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI with 13 #1 hits under his belt. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Burr or http://www.garyburr.com/ )
We will also be hosting the student workers from the Meriden Summer Youth Employment Program. This special event is sponsored by Workforce Alliance, our regional workforce development board.
