Rules for Posting

The guidelines governing posting on the Chamber's Blogwill be developed over time based on Chamber member's usage of this service.  Generally the world wide web is an open environment for the posting of free expression but occasionally we need to post and eventually enforce some guidelines.  They currently are:

  • When you subscribe to any category of the advice column, you will receive email notifications when new questions are posted in your category(s).
  • This board is for the asking for and providing of information and advice among Chamber members.
  • We encourage your business to post questions and/or provide solutions to the posted questions.
  • This is NOT intended as a place to sell any item that you regularly sell in your business although your solutions to a posted question can and may in fact be a product or service that you do regularly offer.
  • This is NOT intended to be a tool to promote or advertize your business.  (We have many other opportunities for shameless self promotions.)
  • Please be civil at all times with all postings.
  • If you are unwilling to be civil please remember that when you sign in, we all know who you are!

While this service is intended to be self policing, anyone in violation of these guidelines will be flagged and eventually suspended.

We hope that all members will find this service useful.  Please share your thoughts with us.
